Trials, the hard times, are allowed by God to correct us, perfect us and make us infectious. In the second chapter of 1 Peter there are words of encouragment for us to take to heart and put into practice so that we can not only survive the hard times but thrive through them. |

Wounds hurt because they are shaming. Shame drives us into hiding preventing us from presenting our authentic self to God and thereby stunting our spiritual development.
